note to self: stay away from rusty garden shears

DermaBond is glue that they use instead of stitches. It is a lot like super glue.

Leon is becoming a man of stature. He has legs like a stallion.

I would like to find somewhere for Penelope and I to live in Arizona. We need big closets, a second bedroom, a balcony, and good locks to keep the javalinas and scorpions out.

Thinking of trading in my car for something without a roof.

Mario Party yesterday—Double Dippers combination of Julie with Yoshi and Jordan with Blooper the squid. We are unstoppable.

Key Lime Pie this evening—Father’s Day. Peach Pie comes on the anniversary of his birth. Baby Limes are harder to squeeze.

I was reading about people born on October 28th and our fear of being unprepared.

I also read more Lorca. I like.

Reading “Kudzu Chronicles” which I am enjoying. I think there are 20 poems in the section-I have seen the kudzu. It is a sight.

Ayesha hydrangeas are my new favorite, though currently I’ve got an array of pinks on my counter. With some annabelles.

Call up your dad and tell him the things you like about him. I made a list. 6 is a good number:

1. Dad shops at both Bass Pro Shop and Saks Fifth Avenue

2. Dad has trained the dogs to sit on your lap while you go to the bathroom.

3. Dad has over 300 hats.

4. Dad takes me to Arnold’s for fried green tomatoes.

5. Dad stretches like a yogi in the mornings on the living room floor.

6. Dad can pull off bowties, seersucker, AND two-toned facial hair.
